Ayu Tsukimiya is the main female protagonist in the Kanon anime series.
Appearance[]
Ayu is very small for her age, often times surprising other characters when they learn her true age. She has short reddish-orange hair and reddish eyes. She is always wearing a yellow coat and a backpack with angel wings on the back. She also wears a red head-band.
Personality[]
Ayu is very childish but sweet, once being described by Yuuichi's aunt as "One big bundle of energy". Ayu is also very clumsy and easily frightened; the mere mention of spirits being able to make her shriek.
Ayu comes off as somewhat impulsive, instinctively tackling Yuuichi when she sees him, but later on limits herself to simple taps on his back.
Ayu tends to also be naïve about common things, such as not knowing what a mobile phone is, but enjoys learning about new things.
Although she usually acts very cheerful, she's extremely determined to find an item that she has lost, and becomes distressed whenever she fails to find it.
